The SUNY Fredonia project to build a Townhouse Village on a campus site between the softball and baseball fields is well on its way. According to the college website, the project will provide apartment living on campus with a front-porch approach to promote a neighborhood feel. Each townhouse unit will contain four single bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen, living and dining area, areas of storage and laundry. A community building will include a mailroom, recreation and meeting space as well as a kitchen. Outside the buildings, the area will be developed to include walkways, yards, parking and landscaping. The project is expected to be completed by August 2014.
