People traveling on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan may have noticed two temporary traffic signals recently set up about a mile and a half west of the village of Silver Creek. The lights had been there for about a week. Crews were working on rebuilding a culvert in that area, which failed on Oct. 23. The culvert had emergency repair work done to it immediately and then more long-term work was done. The eastbound lane was closed for the construction crews. The lights were removed and the lane was opened Thursday.
