Thomas DeJoe seeking re-election to new legislative district 7

Thomas "Tom" DeJoe has announced his candidacy for the new Chautauqua County Legislative District 7, which will include the whole towns of Portland and Stockton, plus a portion of the town of Chautauqua. For the past six years (three terms), DeJoe has been the Chautauqua County District 23 legislator, proudly representing town of Portland residents. He has served as a member of the Audit and Control Committee (2008-present); vice chairman of the Human Services Committee (2008-2009); a ranking member of the Public Facilities Committee (2010-present); a member of the County Home Oversight Subcommittee (2009-present); co-chairman of the County Legislature Redistricting Committee; and was appointed by the county executive as one of two legislators to search committees for director of finance and director of the veterans' office.
