Woman arrested for criminal impersonation in Silver Creek
Courtney L. Ziemba, 21, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation Wednesday.
According to State Police at Fredonia, Ziemba allegedly had used another driver's NYS license after being stopped for speeding in the village of Silver Creek in May.
On Tuesday, Ziemba, who has no permanent address, was located in Brocton. She was allegedly found to be in possession of the other woman's driver's license.
She was processed and arraigned in the Silver Creek Village Court. Ziemba was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 property bond.
Ziemba will appear back in court at a later date. Further charges are pending.
Gowanda Police Department
Sammie L. Harris III, 25, of Buffalo was charged with a headlight violation, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana on Oct. 26. Harris was stopped on Aldrich Street at 11:55 p.m. for an alleged headlight violation. During the stop, Harris was found to be in possession of an alleged illegal stun gun and a small amount of marijuana. He was arraigned in Collins Town Court and sent to the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $1,000 bail. The Erie County Sheriff's Office assisted with this call.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office
PERRYSBURG - Tammy L. Fisher, 43, of Forestville was charged with driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, failure to keep right and unsafe backing on Saturday. At 12:59 a.m. Fisher was stopped on North Road after she allegedly almost hit a patrol car head on. During the stop, Fish allegedly put her car in reverse and almost struck the patrol car. She was released on her own recognizance to appear in Perrysburg Town Court at a later date.
PERRYSBURG - David H. Buck, 43, of Conewango Valley was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana on Saturday.
Buck was stopped on Route 39 at 3:31 a.m. for allegedly speeding and having a tail lamp out. Buck was found to be in possession of an alleged open container and marijuana.
A passenger, Chris T. Farnham, 38, of Conewango Valley was charged with obstruction of governmental administration for allegedly refusing to comply with deputies and becoming argumentative during the stop.
Both are to appear in Perrysburg Town Court at a later date.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office
SILVER CREEK - Douglas E. Bastedo, 22, of Porter Avenue was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Tuesday.
He was charged at 10 p.m. after being allegedly found in possession of marijuana on Central Avenue. Bastedo will appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
Ryan Strickland, 25, of North Beagle Street, Dunkirk, was charged with executing an improper right turn and having an uninspected motor vehicle on Friday.
According to police, around 12:30 p.m., Judith Singer, 73, of Maple Avenue was at a stop sign on Maple Avenue waiting to turn onto Central Avenue when Strickland made a right turn from Central Avenue onto Maple Avenue, striking Singer and causing damage to both vehicles.
Strickland told police when he made the turn, he slid on wet leaves on the ground, causing him to hit Singer. Singer's vehicle had to be towed.
A parked vehicle at 44 E. Main St. was smashed by a tree next to it when the tree fell due to very high winds Friday at 11:50 a.m.
Victoria Welch, 20, of Forbes Place was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Friday.
Jenna Hockwater, 18, and Riley Conklin, 18, both of SUNY Fredonia's Nixon Hall, were both charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and possessing an open container of alcohol on Friday.
Patrick Dexle, 18, of SUNY Fredonia's Hendrix Hall was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and possessing an open container of alcohol on Friday.
Charles Chauncey, 23, of Brigham Road was charged with disorderly conduct on Saturday.
Regina Siegal, 18, of SUNY Fredonia's Nixon Hall was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol and littering on Saturday.
Aaron Machelor, 18, of SUNY Fredonia's Grissom Hall was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol and littering on Sunday.
Julio Aponte, 39, of Lincoln Avenue, Dunkirk, was charged with disorderly conduct on Sunday.
Evan Christy, 24, of Greensburg, Pa., was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing on Sunday.
