Marissa Giambrone and Christopher Peters were united in marriage on July 5, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony at Samuels Grande Manor in Amherst. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Art Davis.
The bride is the daughter of David and Lynn Giambrone of Fredonia. The groom is the son of Richard and Marybeth Peters of Silver Creek.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her honor attendants were Krista Taylor of Fredonia and Sarah Gugino of Charlotte, N.C., both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kyra Taylor and McKenna Taylor of Fredonia, nieces of the bride; and friends of the bride Samantha Harrington of Fredonia; Nicole Supko of Buffalo; and Rhiannon Gillette of Tustin, Calif. Giada Giambrone of Cincinnati, Ohio, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

The groom was attended by his brother and best man Benjamin Peters of Silver Creek. Groomsmen included Drew Gugino and Bryce Gugino of Charlotte, N.C.; and Jackson Taylor of Fredonia, all nephews of the bride; James Miller of Silver Creek, Salvatore Rizzo of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph Sieniki of Jamestown, and Adam Wisnowski of Buffalo, all friends of the groom, and David Giambrone Jr. of Cincinatti, Ohio, brother of the bride. Giovanni Giambrone of Cincinnati, Ohio, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
A reception followed the ceremony, also held at Samuels Grande Manor in Amherst.
The bride is a graduate of Medaille College. She is employed as a teacher at the SUNY Fredonia Campus & Community Children's Center.
The groom is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo. He is employed as a six sigma black belt at SKF Aeroengine in Falconer.
The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
