NORTH HARMONY - A two-car accident claimed the life of an Ohio man on Interstate 86 Sunday afternoon.
Thomas Erickson, 57, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, was driving a Chrysler Pacifica, traveling west on Interstate 86 near exit 7 when he veered off the south side shoulder and crossed over into eastbound traffic at 3:36 p.m. His vehicle struck a Jeep Cherokee driven by Barbara Kubiak, 52, of Bradford, Pa., police said.
Erickson was taken to WCA Hospital in James-town, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials investigate a fatal accident scene on Interstate 86.
Kubiak, who was complaining of chest pains, was flown by helicopter to Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
The investigation is ongoing.
Responded to the scene were: Ashville Fire Depart-ment, Bemus Point Fire Department, Sherman Fire Department, Alstar Ambu-lance, Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department and New York State Police.

MINA - Grace G. Feick, 35, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance out of its original container on Thursday.
At 6:53 p.m., deputies responded to I-86 for the report of an erratic driver. Police located Feick's vehicle allegedly parked on the shoulder of the road. She was allegedly found to be driving under the influence of drugs and to be in possession of various controlled substances. She was released to appear in Mina Town Court at a later date.
SILVER CREEK - James A. Roberto, 30, of Rix Place was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, failure to use a turning signal and failure to stop at a stop sign on Sunday.
Around 1:15 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle traveling northbound on Parkway Street go through the stop sign at the intersection with Central Avenue without stopping. Deputies stopped the vehicle and interviewed the operator, who identified himself as Roberto.
After an investigation, Roberto was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. He was issued traffic tickets and released to a sober party. He will appear in Silver Creek Court to answer the charges.
HANOVER - Amber M. Harrison, 36, of Hanover was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment on Sunday.
At 10 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an Angell Road residence for a loud verbal dispute. After an investigation, it is alleged Harrison ensued in a verbal altercation with the victims, which then escalated into a physical altercation.
It is also alleged that Harrison slammed the door of the residence, causing the glass window to shatter.
Harrison was later located and issued appearance tickets for Hanover Town Court.
