Michael Edward Travis, age 67, of Chautauqua Road Fredonia, NY, passed away at his home on Sunday morning, November 10, 2013 from injuries received in a farming accident.
He was born in Brocton, NY on August 12, 1946, the son of the late William Travis and Esther Wolnik Travis.
Michael lived most of his life in the area but spent the late '80s and early '90s in Utah, then returned to this area to live in 1996. He was a graduate of Colorado State University where he received his Masters Degree in Wild Life Biology. He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War Conflict. He was a self employed contractor by trade.

Mike is survived by his son, Alec Travis-Daugherty of Portland, NY; his companion, Rebecca Daugherty- Clementson of Portland, NY; his mother, Esther Travis of Brocton, NY; one sister, Charlotte McCorry of Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers, Richard Travis of Portland, NY and Stephan Travis of Florida.
He was predeceased by his father, William Travis, who passed away in 2001.
