SINCLAIRVILLE - A three-car accident caused minor injury to one driver Friday.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle driven by Joshua Atwell, 17, of Gerry was northbound on Route 60 when he allegedly drove over some ice and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle entered the southbound lane and sideswiped a vehicle driven by Georgie Hillyer, 43, of Hamburg which sustained minor damage to the rear driver's side. Atwell's vehicle also collided with a vehicle driven by Jonathan Skovira, 22, of Webster causing significant damage along the driver side. Skovira's vehicle was spun around and was sent into the ditch and Atwell's vehicle ended up in a ditch also.
Skovira received a minor laceration and was treated at the scene. Both Atwell's and Skovira's vehicles were towed from the scene. The Gerry and Sinclairville fire departments also responded to the scene.
