LAKEWOOD - The Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association recently presented a check for $6,000 to the Chautauqua Lake Association to help with 2013 operational expenses.
"The continued financial support and confidence the CLFA has in the CLA is especially important as we complete another year of serving the residents of Chautauqua County," CLA President Douglas Conroe said. "We had another great harvesting season on the lake and we would not be able to operate without the support of CLFA and other organizations throughout the region."
Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association is a privately owned company located in Celoron. It hosts dinners and special events throughout the year that allow them to make donations to local organizations such as the Chautauqua Lake Association.
Mark Damon of the CLFA is shown presenting CLA’s Doug Conroe with the $6,000 gift.
"The CLFA has a mission to keep our lake beautiful. We know how important it is to our way of life in Chautauqua County. The Chautauqua Lake Association has the same mission to save our lake and we value our partnership," CLFA President Mark Damon said.
