Cans and bottles for a good cause

November 16, 2013
The OBSERVER

Courtney Gullo saw the big pink bin as she drove by and donated two bags of her cans to breast cancer. Scott Berger, manager of The Redemption Center, 10935 Bennett Road, Dunkirk, is taking can and bottle donations (no glass, plastic only) for the Chautauqua County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. "It's for a good cause," he said "[I] hope this works out and we can donate money to the Chautauqua Chapter." Berger is going to donate once a month to the local chapter. He will keep the bin up as long as people keep donating. Berger said he can get about $150 per load.
