Kia Narraway and Robert Clarence Briggs were united in marriage on Sept. 7, 2013 in a double-ring ceremony at the Dunkirk Lighthouse. Pastor Rick Huber officiated. Guitarist Harmon Karnes of Dunkirk provided musical accompaniment.
The bride is the daughter of Marilyn Guaraglia of Dunkirk and of William Narraway, also of Dunkirk. The groom is the son of Clifford Clarence and Kathy (Samuelson) Briggs of Dunkirk.
The bride was escorted by her parents. She wore a classic ivory lace gown.

Leslie Briggs of Dunkirk, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Amy Pinkoski of Dunkirk, friend of the bride; Renae Kinner and Rebecca Kinner of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Jennifer Schaller of Dunkirk, all sisters of the bride. The ladies wore short rosewood gowns. Grace Dominguez of Dunkirk, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.
Larry Orcutt Jr. of Providence, Ky., friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included friends of the groom Gib Snyder III of Dunkirk, Tom Kirst of Buffalo, John Kucharski of Sheridan, and David Hatfield of Dunkirk. Trestin Briggs of Dunkirk, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
A reception at Dunkirk's East Town Fire Hall followed the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Dunkirk High School and of Jamestown Community College. She received her bachelor of science degree from SUNY Empire State College. She is currently employed as a recovery guide at the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County.
The groom is also a graduate of Dunkirk High School. He attended Jamestown Community College and is currently employed as a supervisor and service tech at the Care Center in Dunkirk.
The couple honeymooned in San Diego, Calif., before returning to their home in Dunkirk.
