Fredonia State senior John Estanislau is the SUNYAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.
The award, announced Monday by the conference office, is based on Estanislau's four first-place finishes - three solos and one relay - during the Blue Devils' 174-126 road win Nov. 23 at Rochester Institute of Technology.
His times in the three invididual races are his fastest of the season - :21.37 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle, :47.65 seconds in the 100 freestyle and 2:00.66 in the 200 individual medley. In addition, his 50 free time was 21st in NCAA Division III as of Sunday morning.
Estanislau's other win came in the 200 medley relay. He swam the breast stroke leg.
The Blue Devil men's dual win over RIT broke a streak of eight straight losses to the Tigers dating back to the 2005-06 season.
