Jessica Petrella and Joel Leroy were united in marriage on Feb. 23, 2013 in a double-ring ceremony at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg. The ceremony was officiated by Jane Dickerson, family friend of the bride. Organist Julie Nagel of Panama provided musical accompaniment.
The bride is the daughter of George and Patricia Petrella of Brocton. The groom is the son of Neil and Jann Leroy of Erie.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a classic white halter dress with beaded embroidery and a red sash. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white calla lilies.
Carlyn Petrella of Brocton, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Nicole Petrella of Fredonia and Andrea Nagel of Erie, Pa., cousins of the bride; Kristin McChesney of South Dayton, Nicki Nearhoof of Silver Creek, Erin Fay of Washington, DC, and Kaitlyn Greene of Boston, Mass., all friends of the bride. The attendants wore navy blue floor-length gowns and carried bouquets of white roses. Catherine Petrella, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
Nathan and Bradley Leroy of Erie, Pa., brothers of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen included Mitchell Levine of Pittsburg, Pa., cousin of the groom; Lee Rohan, Justin and Michael Liggett of Erie, Pa. and Justin Pede of Grand Prairie, Canada, all friends of the groom. Adam Rish, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The reception was held at Brierwood Country Club following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Fredonia High School and Northeastern University. She also has her masters degree in business administration from Suffolk University in Boston. She is employed by Liberty Mutual Group Asset Management as a senior global portfolio analyst.
The groom is a graduate of McDowell High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor of science degree in sports management. He is currently employed by Innovex as a senior account executive.
The couple honeymooned in Saint Lucia before returning to their home in Waltham, Mass.
