Richard O. Bradnick, 78, of Haines City, Fla., formerly of Dunkirk, died Friday morning (Dec. 13, 2013) in Kissimmee, Fla.
He was born Oct. 24, 1935 in Southold, Long Island, NY the son of the late Joseph W. and Olive (Kirby) Bradnick.
Mr. Bradnick had been employed as a supervisor for True Temper Corp. in Dunkirk.

He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alda A. (Freitas) Bradnick; three sons, Richard P. (Gigi) Bradnick, David (Lisa) Bradnick, and John (Charlotte) Bradnick, all of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters Annette (Joseph) Amos, Lisa (Steve Brauer) Bradnick, and Amy L. Bradnick, all of Orlando; one sister, Patricia (Jack) Rief of Haines City; four brothers, Gerald (Dottie) Bradnick of Silver Springs, Fla., William (Betty) Bradnick of East Quoque, Long Island, Michael (Margaret) Bradnick of Riverhead, NY and Robert (Donna) Bradnick of Shelter Island, Long Island; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth J. Bradnick; his daughter, Cynthia Ann Vangelder; and his brother, James Bradnick.
Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
