Carly Mitchell and Alexander Davis exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 10, at Viking Lake Park in Maple Springs, NY. The ceremony was performed by April Tye. Readings were given by Ron Mitchell II, father of the bride, and Barb Davis, mother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter Ronald and Kim Mitchell of Portland and Dan and Tracy Roemer of Mayville and the granddaughter of Ronald and Sandy Mitchell of Portland, and Carole Faust of Mayville.
The groom is the son of Bruce and Barb Davis of Mayville, grandson of Hans and Ursula Wiemer of Chautauqua, and Barbara Davis of Dewittville, and the late James Davis.
Amber Galkowski of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. was matron of honor and bridesmaid was Erica Spas of Leadville, Colo. The best man was brother of the groom, Jacob Davis of Mayville and groomsman was Jerry Hopkins of Denver, Colo. Brandon Mitchell, brother of the bride, was the master of ceremonies.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School, and earned an associate's degree in communications from Jamestown Community College. She is employed at the Athenaeum Hotel in Chautauqua and volunteers at the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue in Westfield.
The groom is a 2002 Chautauqua Lake graduate, and attended Jamestown Community College and the State University at Fredonia. He is employed by Davis Exterior Contracting.
The couple honeymooned on Maui and in San Diego.
