The Zonta Club of Jamestown has announced their Zontian of the Year (ZOTY) for the 2013-2014 Season.
Shauna Anderson has been in Zonta for seven years and works at Hospice Chautauqua County. Shauna was named the Zontian of the Year because of her outstanding service both to the club, and the community. She is an overall accomplished woman.
Shauna has her Master's in Geriatric Nursing and serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Hospice Chautauqua County. She has many accomplishments within the community and is well respected and regarded wherever she goes.

Anderson is very modest, and when she won she said, "Thank you, but I don't deserve this."
She is a person who deeply cares about those who have not been very fortunate in their lives and has been an active participant in trying to help, contributing her time to make a difference and traveling afar to help.
The great revealing of the Zontian of the Year was done at the Marvin House on Nov. 20. Those in attendance from the ZOTY's family and friends were her husband of 20 years, Dan, her son Brad and his three children, and her daughter, Mel.
The Zonta Club of Jamestown is one of 1200 Chapters of Zonta International, a service organization with the mission of advancing the status of women locally and worldwide.
