Kenneth Scott Draggett, 52, of Bear Lake Road, Fredonia, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday evening (Dec. 30, 2013.
He was born in Westfield, NY on May 10, 1961 and was the son of the late Kenneth D. and Sadie MacKenzie Draggett.
Kenneth grew up and spent his entire life in the local area. He was a graduate of Brocton Central School and was a fork lift operator by trade working for Cummings of Jamestown, NY.
He had always had a great love of sports and especially enjoyed watching his daughters in whatever sporting event they participated in. He was an amazing fan. Kenneth participated in coaching softball and baseball earlier in his life and was a great help with many other sports teams in this area. He was also a huge New York Giants football fan. Kenneth also loved gardening and birdwatching.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Ashley Draggett and Brook Draggett, both of Stockton, NY and stepson Rick Peirce also of Stockton; two sisters, Cindy Draggett of Brocton, NY and Tammy Ebert of Stockton, NY; and one brother, Randy Draggett of Arkwright, NY Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant brother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at the Morse Funeral Home 51 Highland Ave., Brocton, NY. (Time to be announced in Thursday's OBSERVER) Interment will be in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday Jan. 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
