Trina Marie Elder and Matthew Charles West were united in marriage on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Gates Wesleyan Church in Rochester, N.Y. The ceremony was officiated by the Pastor Bradley Strange. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mary Ann Bentz. Ceremony readings were performed by Miss Kayla Hohl, niece of the groom, and Miss Jessica Howes, niece of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Elder of Rochester. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles West of South Dayton.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Alfred Angelo dress in white. The satin gown featured crystal beading, sequins, rhinestones, and a semi-cathedral train and was complemented by a veil. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, and yellow Gerbera daisies.
Trisha Elder of Rochester, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Jaclyn Kitto, Jennifer Kitto, Valerie Beckman, Madison Beckman and Kristina Thorpe.The flower girls were Paige Hohl and Lily Hohl, nieces of the groom. The attendants wore floor-length gowns of Malibu chiffon. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow Gerbera daisies.
Mr. Brandon Feinen of Rockville, Md. served as best man. Groomsmen included Norman Howes, Michael Frontuto, Tyler West, John Perry and Ryan Mcauley. The ring bearers were Noah Frontuto and Ayden Hohl, nephews of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of Greece Arcadia High School. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in childhood inclusive education, and is currently working on her Master's degree in literacy.
The groom is a graduate of Forestville High School. He graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in history, and is currently employed at Chautauqua Abstract Company in Mayville, NY
The couple honeymooned in the Thousand Islands. They reside in Cherry Creek.
