It was 20 years ago this week the Buffalo Bills played in the last of their four straight Super Bowl appearances.
The memories are bittersweet and each game was filled with moments to forget. Unfortunately, those four one-game losses - ranging from one point to 35 - overshadow what was an otherwise remarkable and unmatched run.
From 1990 to 1993, the Bills had a record of 49-15 and won the AFC East three times while outscoring their opponents 1,591 to 1,106. In the playoffs, they were just as formidable, going 9-0 and outscoring their opponents, 296-145.
So we'll leave it at that. Take away the four Super losses, and those other numbers have the look of greatness.
