MAYVILLE - For the second straight game in as many days, the Chautauqua Lake Lady Thunderbirds (13-1, 9-0) put up 71 points.
After defeating Cassadaga Valley, 71-11, Monday, the Lady Thunderbirds defeated the Panama Lady Panthers (10-4, 6-4), 71-39, Tuesday in a CCAA West II girls high school basketball contest.
Chautauqua Lake built up a 38-13 halftime lead and went on to outscore the visitors 33-26 in the second half.

Jenna Einink led the attack with 22 points and six steals while Ashton Albanesius added 15 points and nine rebounds. Tara Hunt had 12 points and eight assists while Courtney Hewes added eight points, 11 assists and six steals.
Brittany Lenart had a solid game for the Lady Panthers with 21 points, 10 rebounds and six steals. Emilee Sperry added five points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort.
Chautauqua Lake travels to Sherman on Thursday.
Kaitlyn Blanchard and Emily Hair combined for 39 points Tuesday night as Frewsburg (10-5, 8-1) cruised past Dunkirk (1-13, 0-10), 67-41, during CCAA West I girls basketball action at Dunkirk Senior High School.
The Bears jumped out to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Lady Marauders, 22-15 in the second quarter, 19-11 in the third and 11-10 in the fourth.
Mackenzie Swartzman had five points and eight rebounds in the win while Maddie Whippo chipped in six boards.
For Dunkirk, Sydney Charles had team-highs in points (11) and rebounds (7) while Maddie Crandall chipped in eight points and Jessica Gifford and Rachel Rosas six points each.

Maple Gove 39
BEMUS?POINT?- Jordan Brooks and Jade Lewis combined for 36 points in leading Silver Creek to a CCAA West I girls basketball victory Tuesday.
Brooks hit 19 points and Lewis 17 points as the Lady Black Knights defeated Maple Grove (2-8, 4-12), 47-39.
Brooks also had 15 rebounds and six blocks while Kaylee Dexter added 11 rebounds in the winning cause. Lewis chipped in with seven assists and six steals.
Emily Swanson sank 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and had five steals for Maple Grove. Also for MG, Amie Adams hauled down seven rebounds and Morgan Lehman six while Allison Winchester added four assists.
