Firefighters take on Irving blaze

Firefighters from nearly 10 area departments responded to a fire at 12836 Erie Street in Irving around 11:30 a.m. The Irving Fire Department with mutual aid from Silver Creek, Sunset Bay, Sheridan, East Dunkirk, Dunkirk, Forestville, Fredonia, Hanover Center and the County Emergency Services, handled the flames and smoke coming from the house.
