"We went on a run in the second half and really pulled away," Case said. "Overall, we played really well. (In the second half) we took control. The defense really stepped it up and we have been looking for a win like this."
Marissa Cussins added four goals, two assists, three draw controls, three caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Sam Owen had two goals and Emily Polizzi added two goals while goalkeeper Christina Mathewson earned her first collegiate victory with six saves in the final 44 minutes of duty.

Fredonia State improved to 11-0 vs. New Paltz in the all-time series between the two teams.
The Blue Devils are back in action Tuesday at Geneseo.
"Next week we play two top-20 teams in Geneseo and Oneonta," Case said. "Those are two tough games and it should be a good measuring stick to see where we are at. Those games will play a major role in the standings."

ROCHESTER - The threat of cold, windy, and wet weather Saturday prompted a change in Fredonia State's track and field meet schedule.
Organizers of the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational announced Thursday that the meet - scheduled for Saturday and today at Fauver Stadium - will be held today only, starting at 9 a.m.
The switch to a one-day format, organizers said, will also result in the elimination of the multi-events - the men's decathlon and the women's heptathlon - from the meet schedule.
