WESTFIELD - This year the Westfield Memor-ial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual "Celebra-ting Spring" event on Saturday, May 10.
Please note the change in venue. This year, "Celebra-ting Spring" will be held at the Shorewood Country Club, 4958 West Lake Road in Dunkirk. Patron tickets will remain at $25. The cost is all inclusive. Parking is free.
The event will be open for vendors at 9 a.m., with coffee available. Vendors include Tastefully Simple, Parklane, Lucy's Vintage Treasures, Crooked House Candies, Ol' Glory Can-dles, Happy Bee Products, WMH Auxiliary Table, Touch of Glass, Trellies Boutique, Westview Imag-es, and Surroundings of Westfield.
With admission, guests receive two free tickets for the silent auction. Addition-al silent auction tickets are available at 10 tickets for $5, 5 tickets for $3, or $1 each. A lottery ticket tree will also be featured, with the opportunity to purchase chances for it at $2 each or 3 tickets for $5.
One of the highlights of the event will be the debut of the ornament of the year. This year, Eason Hall has been chosen as the subject of the ornament. The price of the ornament is $10. Thimbles and magnets are available for $5 each.
The grand door prize will be a year's unlimited use of the fitness room at the Westfield YWCA located at 58 S. Portage St. This prize has a value of $300.
The luncheon menu includes served green salad with balsamic dressing, chef's choice warm pasta dish, carving stations with eye round of beef and cajun turkey breast, served with assorted rolls and aiolis, green beans almondine, roasted garlic herb potatoes, chef's choice dessert, and coffee, tea, or punch. A cash bar is available.
Following the buffet luncheon at noon, the WACS Westwinds, under the direction of Grammy Award winning teacher Kent Knappenberger, will provide the afternoon entertainment.
Proceeds will benefit the Westfield Memorial Hos-pital.
