The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation announced the 22nd Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 11, at Chautauqua Golf Club.
The golf club is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and in honor of this milestone, the foundation Golf Committee will award a prize to the golfer who attends dressed in the best vintage golfing attire.
Once again, the Westfield Memorial Hospital Medical Staff is the tourney's major sponsor. This year's proceeds will be used to upgrade the hospital's Emergency Department, which will ensure its mission to provide outstanding health care to more than 30,000 residents throughout the area.
A prize will go to the golfer who is dressed in the best vintage golfing attire to help celebrate the Chautauqua Golf Course’s 100th anniversary at the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation’s July 11 tournament. To give some idea of dress in years past, this April 17, 1931, photo is of Jack Cawsey, who was a club pro.
The tournament will include beverages, lunch, cocktail reception and a prime rib dinner.
