‘Heaven can wait’

Silver Creek Central School District will present "Heaven Can Wait" by Harry Segall on May 9. In this comedy, the main character, Joe Pendelton, a prize-winning boxer, finds himself in quite a conundrum when he finds himself dead 60 years before he is actually supposed to pass on. This play traces his journey, with his guardian Miss Jordan by his side, to find a new body and a new life. We see Joe interact with his new family and old friends in order to learn a wonderful lesson on love and the value/price of life. Show dates and times are Friday, May 9 at 7 p.m. with an optional spaghetti dinner at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 at 2 p.m. (There is no Saturday show). Ticket prices are $2 for students and $7 for adults. Prices go up $2 at the door. Spaghetti dinner and show tickets are pre-sale only and are priced at $5 for students and $12 for adults.
