Flooding in region takes toll on residents

May 13, 2014
Observer Today
The National Weather Service has issued a flash-flood warning for western Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties that was to last through 10:15 a.m.

Heavy rains and thunderstorms hit the region since around 3 this morning. Some areas reportedly received 2 inches of rain in locations.

In this photo on Brigham Road, both vehicles stopped running after going through water under a viaduct between Second and Fourth streets. Other roads in the area have been closed as well as others in Cattaraugus County.
