Hometown Insurance is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Michalski as a licensed property and casualty insurance broker for their agency.
A lifetime resident of Dunkirk, Michalski has over 20 years of customer service experience in the financial services industry. A graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, he believes his financial background and experience will help him in meeting the insurance needs of Hometown's customers.
"I enjoy working with people and educating them on the different insurance products and services Hometown offers. Because Hometown is an independent insurance agency, we can offer customers several different options when insuring their assets. Giving customers choices among several insurance companies helps customers save money as well," he said.
Active in the community, Michalski is a First Ward Councilman for the city of Dunkirk, a city of Dunkirk Industrial Development Agency board member, youth hockey coach for NCCYHA and active member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish; serving on the Parish Pastoral Council, as a lector and Catholic Charities chairman.
"I have a strong and vested interest in the local community and look forward to helping people meet their insurance needs with competitively priced products and services," he added.
"We are excited to have Mike join our staff," said agency President Ron Hall. "He has a long successful career in the financial services field and even more importantly he is a person of strong character and positive attitude. His community involvement and knowledge merges nicely with the Hometown characteristics that we have developed."
Located at 200 Lake Shore Drive W. in Dunkirk, Hometown Insurance is locally owned and operated by Ron and Susan Hall and provides auto, home, life and business insurance to new and existing customers while representing several different insurance carriers.
