The team at the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce and Manufacturers Association of the Southern Tier is here to serve the needs of its members. The organizations provide a variety of services and drive initiatives to meet the diverse needs of the business community in the region. The Chamber's and Manufacturers Association's mission, goals and the work it does has been built and customized by its membership for its membership.
The Chamber and Manufacturers Association represent over 1,000 businesses that are employing approximately 24,000 people in the region. In partnership with its membership and vast volunteer network it is driving initiatives and providing services to help support and build stronger businesses and communities. Sign up now for the Chamber Golf Tournament at Peek n' Peak Aug. 14
There is still some space left for the 2014 Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament, which will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 at Peek n' Peak. Last year's tournament sold out, so the Chamber encourages you to register now!
For the second year in a row, the Chamber is offering its members a fabulous day of golf on the Peek's Upper Course. The Upper Course is a championship caliber, par-72 course, measuring 7,061 yards from the gold tees, with bentgrass greens, fairways and tees for optimum playing conditions. Its unique terrain and natural features - including rolling hills, deep sand bunkers, panoramic views and mature woods - create a spectacular atmosphere and beauty that is unrivaled. The course rates 4.5 out of 5 stars from Golf Digest.
The Chamber Golf Tournament is being sponsored this year by DFT Communications, Community Bank NA, Cummins, Inc., Dahlstrom Roll Form, Fredonia Place, Jamestown Business College, Jamestown Mattress Company, Lake Shore Savings Bank, Lawley-Tradition LLC, National Grid, National Fuel Gas, PNC Institutional Investments and Shults Auto Group.
A portion of the proceeds from this annual event benefit the Tom Baressi Scholarship Fund through the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.

Hanover Chamber plans yard sales
Saturday, Aug. 2 is the date for this year's Villagewide Yard Sale in Silver Creek, sponsored by the Hanover Community Chamber of Commerce. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and those who wish can be listed as "Bunches of Bargains" participants with reduced prices after 3 p.m. Any resident in the 14136 zip code can participate.
Yard sales in the village of Silver Creek are required to have a permit, but the Chamber of Commerce has a blanket permit for Aug. 2. Residents can register in person for $10 at Silver Creek Optical, 41 Main St. Registering will get you placed on the participant map. The registration deadline is July 30. Registration fees cover the costs of printing maps and advertising, and net proceeds go for community enhancement and for scholarships given by the Hanover Community Chamber to one college-bound graduate from the Silver Creek and Forestville High schools each year.

Chamber members invited to submit photos
Members of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce are invited to submit photos of their events throughout the year for use in Chamber publications and online. The Chamber is always seeking ways to help recognize its members, and it invite you to submit photos to the Chamber that could be used in a variety of ways including the annual Business Builder Source Book, the Chamber's Value of Membership brochure and on its website or Facebook pages.
If you are a Chamber member and have photos of your business or a community event, email them to Sheila Webster at email@example.com. Photos must be high resolution for print use. By emailing your photos to the Chamber, you acknowledge that you have rights to the photo content and are authorizing the Chamber of Commerce to use it with the photo credit you provide.
