Paul L. Holser, 94, of Fredonia died suddenly Tuesday afternoon (July 22, 2014) at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk.
He was born March 29, 1920 in Buffalo, the son of the late Randolph and Vera (Layman) Holser.
A World War II veteran, Mr. Holser served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
He had been employed as a sales representative for school and office equipment.
An avid golfer, he was a past member and president of the Lancaster Country Club.
Survivors include three sons, Paul R. (Janet) Holser of Texas, David (Kathy) Holser of Fredonia and Charles Holser of Van Buren Point; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet S. (Seamans) Holser, who died March 10, 2012; and his daughter, Barbara L. Bartlett.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
