WESTFIELD - Patter-son Library is now looking for donations of auction items, big and small, to help make its upcoming fundraiser a big success.
Dinners, artwork, services, antiques, and furniture will be among the hundreds of auction items up for bid at the benefit auction and barbecue dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Westfield's Eason Hall. All proceeds benefit Patterson Library, 40 South Portage Street, Westfield.
A limited number of tickets to the chicken barbecue are available at the library for $10 presale only. Auction attendance is free. The dinner will be available from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. BYOB if you so desire.

Auction items can be dropped off at the Library by August 12. The auction and chicken barbecue is Patterson Library's major annual fundraiser. Proceeds will go to children's programs and the purchase of new library materials.
