Your right Judeye,Harry Reid has no idea how much damage his fiscal policy's are doing to our economy.

Worse Congress in our Country's history.
They do not understand basic economics, fail to pass bills that would help the people, and take more vacation days than work days.
Yet they continue to collect big pay checks and lots of 'perks'.
Time to kick them all out. Get the money out of our ballot boxes. People reclaim their power.

"sensible and sane", ponder this: "praise and admiration are highly overrated"

Sure someone clicked yes,Harry Reid reads the Observer.

Is this some kind of trick question? And did someone actually click "yes"? Wow!!!

Agree with just about everything you commentated on Phil except " Kiyak and Szakula are the only two worth keeping and worthy of any praise." They are two of the problems. Those twins really have no concept of the happenings except to ask stupid questions which on the surface may appear to give the impression they actually have a brain.Szakula has run unopposed and has been an embarrassment to the 4th Ward and Kiyak has only been here since 2009 but to listen to her she knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Dunkirk..more than those that were born here and lived here for years. Ask around and you'll find many agree with me...they are far from "praise heaping."
DUSTY1 - thanks for the kind words. It's good to know that there are readers who understand and appreciate our postings. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! Phil
our first response to poll question was: A.Y.F.K, we debated posting but here it is, like it or no,.because W.D.F.C.
Oh wow, I love PhilJulian(not afraid to use his real name) and rumblefish and a few others. I almost always totally agree with their comments. Sensible and sane..two VERY attractive traits. Gotta love you both. I would add something but it has all already been said..and so well that I can't think of anything else to add.

what we see as be a better question is: Do you think that this newspaper is offering a "truthful and unbiased view of local elected officials"

What really irks(pis*** me off)Stang is that illegal invaders continue to receive child tax credits while our military men and women who served have to pay for it!

people who support the" notion" that elected officials "do a good job", MUST ALL SO "believe" the following: Steiner's rants serve a useful purpose, Obama is the "greatest leader sense sliced bread, there is no racial profiling and prejudice , unlimited terms of office in senate and house is a good thing, the City of Dunkirk administration is now and will be always "financially prudent" there is no lying and deceit in government, and lastly :the agree/disagree box attached to comments is a needed and useful tool. we could go on and on but we have made our point........ your welcome
and commentor, you missed or the gals did my steinerton work. Anyone with advanced knowledge of physics( all guys except curie) and ancient writings and also philosophy can build them Oh wait, i think it was your list of gal philosophers and in it the gals said MEN dominated philosophy since the get go. Thinking and philosophy go hand in hand .You gals missed it again.lets hear it commentor

take away the major stuff by guys and society collapses. Liquid air, guys, rocketry, guys, electronics guys, electricity and radio a biggie, a guy named tesla. So commentor the gals are like models on the runway in that fashion show on tv, victorias secret it is called. the guys built everything for the gals to at least parade on and maybe make a small contribution. All major patents held by guys.the gals are window dressing and nothing more. even gals will agree with this, but you wont. Ignorance is supreme from the libs.
commentor, can you post anything without calling me a name ? What is with the name calling. I have been in industry. In 40 years i saw 6 gals in chemistry. everyone i talked to was a guy. all major discoveries and chemicals done by guys. Petrochem done by guys. drilling, fracking done by guys you are like cronig, you just cant swallow the fact that guys built EVERYTHING. gals themselves say this on Tv , books. other print media. it is only the clueless posters here that believe otherwise.guys built the foundation, framing etc, the gals just painted rooms or hung curtains in the house of science that men built. Facts commentor, nothing can change it.
commentor proves again how clueless he is. the list of women chemists. ALL OF THE CHEMISTRY WAS DICSCOVERED BY MEN. ALL THE GREAT THINGS LIFE DEPENDS ON DISCOVERIES BY MEN. Kevlar is based on nylon. discovered by men. whatever the gals did it was based on mens discoveries. Take away men chemists and we would have floundered. Commentor you just dont understand the great chemist discoveries by men and how they rule the world. Habers ammonia process. depends on hydrogen from natural gas. The LWV does not like fracked gas. So commentor every time you think a woman did it, it was based on a mans discovery. Men chemists one WW2 and influenced the chemical world to this day. the woman just hung curtains in the windows. the woman themselves say this and you disagree.
Joew, have you seen Chuck Schumer is all for the cuts to Veterans and Military Retirees. He says they haven’t sacrificed enough and when asked if Congress should take a cut, his reply was they have already sacrificed. This from a guy who has literally spent his whole adult life in politics and has become very wealthy because of it. This from a guy who believes he’s our lord and master instead of our public servant. But, we don’t have to worry as he’ll be down for the next big photo opt to make the ignorant think he’s doing something for them.

(con't) now, as the NRG issue appears to be nearing resolution government will go on it's merry way spending like crazy knowing that NRG will be picking a large share of the tab. Kiyak and Szakula are the only two worth keeping and worthy of any praise.

You must be joking! We have a city that is dying a slow death but no one in government understands the problem. We have a city where unions are in control of the purse strings while Council has no problem approving contracts that are unaffordable. They sat by and watched while the DLDC ran the city into the ground spending $750,000 for waterfront property that is worth only a fraction of that amount. They created a $50,000 position of Reccreation Director and rewarded a former DLDC member with a lifetime union position. Where was the mayor (as councilman) when the city was blowing $173,000 on a Memorial Park project that should have been put out for bid, without council approval and costing over $40,000 just in overtime? We are about to get a verdict from HUD concerning mis-appropriation of federal HUD grant funding including bonuses paid to DLDC officials. City taxpayers will be left paying the price for that fiasco and there will likely be no retribution for the parties responsible.

Their work continues into the billions of tons of chemicals. Now you were saying how bad this was ? OK, replace these chemicals with what exactly commentor.

commentor, men invented electricity, radio, petrochem, electronics. it was only when the liberals got the govt into the act that things got messed up. then the gals got into govt for more goofs. Proof ? the gals at the EPA and Sebellius's HHS. the gals are losers in science , plain and simple. Facts for roberta and the rest, irrefutable facts.
