Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Rozen recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Hyacinth’s Church, where they were married on June 23, 1973. The Mass was celebrated by Father Robert Owczarczak, assisted by Deacon Dan Tyler and altar server Tony Popielarz.

A luncheon, hosted by the couple’s children, was held at the Kocziuszko Club, where their wedding reception was also held. Many family members and friends were in attendance. The couple has three children, Lori (David) Felt and James Rozen, both of Dunkirk, and Julie Rozen of Pittsburgh. They also have four grandchildren, Peter, Lucas, Danielle and Michael Felt. Mr. Rozen retired from Dunkirk Specialty Steel, where he worked as a maintenance electrician for 30 years. Mrs. Rozen was a cafeteria monitor at Dunkirk Elementary School 7 for 20 years.
