Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Granata

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony (Catherine Spiritosanto) Granata of Fredonia celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday. The couple was married on July 13, 1974, at the Annunciation Church in Buffalo, by Father Vincent Verostro. The maid of honor was Gail McKenna, and the best man was Richard Coniglio. Ann Baldi Leone served as the flower girl, and John Cannata was the ring bearer.

Mr. Granata, the son of the late Anthony F. and Ilene (Polvino) Granata of Fredonia, enjoys making and selling jewelry and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Granata, the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (O’Shea) Spiritosanto of Buffalo, enjoys reading, gardening, and watching comedies.

The happy couple enjoyed a surprise trip to Las Vegas and a wonderful dinner celebration at Maggiano’s Little Italy with their children Rachael Aquilina, David Granata (Curtis Thomas), grandson, and several cousins.
