Empty Bowls fundraiser

Wheelock School, 75 Chestnut St., Fredonia, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 1,000 ceramic bowls created by between 15 to 20 professional potters and art students from the Fredonia and Brocton school districts will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Chautauqua County food pantries.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes.
