Holiday Whobilation at Chautauqua Safety Village

2695 Route 394, Ashville, 4:30 to 7 p.m., admission $6 per person, all activities included. Ages 2, under free. Take your own picture with Santa, Paw Patrol, Frozen characters, decorate a Christmas cookie with Mrs. Claus, see the North Pole Observation Station, meet the Grinch, visit his lair, watch the Grinch’s storytelling, walk among floats in the interactive stationary parade, make a craft, play skee-ball, Christmas bowling, indoor snowball fight, rodeo bounce, Grinch bingo, use the cars tracks. Lakeshore Humane Society Wednesday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats.
