SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors resumed their weekly meetings on Jan. 7 with 16 people in attendance.

Vice President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing God Bless America. Chaplain Pauline Flitt offered a blessing for the group and the food. Lunch consisted of pizza, lemon meringue pie and apple pie.

The 50/50 winners were Eleanor Lemiszko, Annette Hoeber and Joan Militello. Door prizes were awarded to Judy Domanski and Joan Suski. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners included: Joan S., Sally Shevlin (twice), and Joan M. (twice). Janice called bingo and the winners were: Randy Nurmi, Judy, Joan S. (twice), Gene Chesbro, Eleanor (twice), Sally, Joan M. and Ginny Chesbro.

Next meeting will feature pot luck and desserts for lunch. Dues are presently being collected for the year. The Silver Creek Senior Group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Call Lorrie for information at 716-785-1074.
