On Feb. 1, the Citizens for a Better Cassadaga and the Seymour Cassadaga Library branch hosted “Tonya and Her Goats” as part of the annual Winter Festival. The library extended their Saturday hours to 4 p.m. so families and community members could come have refreshments including coffee from 3 Lakes Cafe and snack cakes donated by the library. Two live goats are owned by local Tonya Hamm. She very graciously brought Peanut Butter (Pee Bee) and Cookie to the library. They were allowed to interact with the crowd in the back room. There were also Valentine themed crafts, games, computer learning available for the kids in addition to the regular selection of books.
