Inclusion assemblies

planned for Wednesday

SILVER CREEK — On Wednesday, members from The Resource Center Self Advocacy Group, Make-a-Mark, will travel to Silver Creek Central. The individuals from Make a Mark, will present three 20-minute assemblies, one at each building, about the importance of Inclusion and how Inclusion has affected them over the years.

These presentations are meant to support the educational experiences connected to the Choose to Include/ Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. The first presentation will be at 8 a.m. for the Middle School, 8:47 for the High School, and 9:15 for the fourth- and fifth-graders.

All three presentations will be the same. This presentation is presented by Silver Creek’s Youth Advisory Committee and Make a Mark Self Advocacy Group.

County Kids on Fly dates set

SINCLAIRVILLE — Country Kids on the Fly will meet at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St. on the following Mondays at 5:30 p.m.: March 17 and 31, April 14 and 28. This is a free program for ages 8 and up to learn fly tying and fishing techniques. All tools and materials will be provided. Adults are welcome too.

Library patrons may also practice new skills at home by checking out the fly-tying vise and tool kit that is available at the library. Roblin Steel group to gather

Roblin Steel Coffee club will be gathering at Demetri’s Restaurant, Dunkirk at 9 a.m. Friday. All former employees, family, friends are always invited to attend.
