Do you find yourself deeply moved by the power of music? Are you searching for a unique Lenten experience that speaks to the heart and soul? Holy Trinity Parish invites you to take part in a profound journey of faith through the Stations of the Cross — brought to life with contemporary music and powerful reflection on Friday at 7 p.m.

This distinctive presentation blends the solemnity of the Stations with live performances of carefully chosen modern songs, enhancing the spiritual journey with music that speaks to the heart. Featuring selections from artists such as Billy Joel, Josh Groban, Bryan Adams, and Lauren Daigle, the event weaves together poignant melodies and soul-stirring lyrics that mirror the journey of Christ’s path to the cross — love, sacrifice, and redemption.

The evening will be led by an ensemble of talented musicians and vocalists from Holy Trinity. Tom Donovan will serve as lead vocalist and narrator of the Stations, while Christina Donovan will contribute vocals and perform on the flute, violin, and bass guitar. Marie Sedota brings vocals, and will perform on acoustic and electric guitar, violin, and bass guitar. Evonne Hennebery will provide accompaniment on keyboard, and Nick Siracuse will add depth with percussion. Narrating the reflections will be Jane Dickerson, offering insights into themes of sacrifice, hardship, forgiveness, truth, and perseverance — messages that resonate deeply in today’s world.

This immersive experience invites participants to engage with the Passion of Christ in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally relevant. Whether you are moved by music or seeking a fresh perspective on this sacred tradition, Holy Trinity’s Stations of the Cross with Contemporary Music is a profound opportunity for reflection and renewal.
