There are free concerts in the School of Music just about every day on the State University of New York at Fredonia. The community is always welcome to attend. Rosch and Diers recital halls are inside Mason Hall. King Concert Hall is inside the Rockefeller center across from the University Hockey rink

— Tuesday — Video Game Orchestra, King Concert Hall, 8 p.m.: Epic scores from favorite video games past and present
— Wednesday — Fredonia Trombone Choir, Rosh Recital Hall, 8 p.m.
— Friday — Fredonia Jazz Showcase, Rosch Recital Hall, 8 p.m.: Hear the Downbeat-Magazine Award-winning Fredonia Flextet and the full Jazz Orchestra!
— Saturday, Oct. 19 — Student Recital, Catharine Palanski, bassoon, Diers Hall 1 p.m.; Fredonia Choral Showcase, Rosch Recital Hall, 4 p.m.; Fredonia College Symphony, King Concert Hall, 8 p.m.: Conductor Emily Schaad with concerto competition winner Mario Qing Fei Chai in a very October program of dark/heavy favorites. Brahms, Prokofiev, & Liszt’s infamously difficult and Halloweeny “Dance Of Death” for piano and orchestra.
