With student recital season kicking into high gear, there are some afternoons that are wall-to-wall free live music for anyone in the community who has some time to spare. Rosch and Diers recital halls are inside Mason Hall. King Concert Hall is inside the Rockefeller center across from the University Hockey rink

Monday: Fredonia Student Composers, Rosch Recital Hall, 8 p.m., the newest sounds fresh from the minds of the next generation of composers.

Tuesday: Fredonia Clarinet Ensemble, Rosch Recital Hall, 8 p.m.; Guest Artist, Peter Steiner, Trombone with, Rockefeller, 8 p.m., 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition Prize winner and former Principal Trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic

Wednesday: Fredonia Jazz Orchestra, Rosch Recital Hall 8 p.m., the newly thriving jazz program lets loose its biggest sound (sponsored by the Paramax Corporation)

Thursday: Guest Recital, Duo Beumer and Van Ham, Rosch 8 p.m., contemporary sounds for Clarinet and piano.
