On Aug. 26, the Leon Historical Society was fortunate and honored to receive on loan, three beautiful reference books from the 1800s. The gifts were presented by members of the Ellis family of Leon to be enjoyed by all. The society thanks the Ellis family, Jeanne Gernatt, Arizona Gernatt, Carol Ellis and Cassie Kelly for their thought and consideration.
