An enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship is coming to the stage at Gowanda High School. The Thespian Society of GHS is presenting “Mamma Mia!” the musical in the auditorium on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 7 and 8, at 7 p.m. and the community is invited. A free senior citizen preview is scheduled Wednesday at 1 p.m. This feel-good show centers on a mother, a daughter, three possible dads, and an unforgettable trip down the aisle on a Greek island paradise. Songs by ABBA, the Swedish pop band, featured in the show include “Dancing Queen,” “Super Trouper,” and “The Winner Takes it All.” It is strongly recommended patrons purchase online tickets in advance to avoid long wait times in the lobby.
