GOWANDA — The sixth-grade team at Gowanda Middle School emphasizes The Four C’s to its students by recognizing those who stand out with their critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration skills. Those recognized included:

— Jag Gill was singled out for critical thinking, looking at problems in a new way, and linking learning across subjects and disciplines.

— Onnah Galati was praised for collaboration, working together to reach a goal while putting talent and expertise to work.

— Avi Braley was honored for creativity, trying new approaches to get things done, which equals innovation and invention.

— Alexis Hojnacki was selected for communication, sharing thoughts, questions, ideas, and solutions.
