Pixels and Paint art exhibit opens Thursday at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts

JAMESTOWN — Pixels and Paint opens at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts Wednesday, May 30 at 6 p.m. This art show will be displayed in the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts upper mezzanine while the 3rd on 3rd Gallery is being relocated. The free public reception is from 6 until 8 p.m. The show will be open to the public through July 3.

Pixels and Paint features art from a mix of new and emerging artists from the region including Elisa Fuentes, Obehi Ejele, Axel Toth, Seth Snyder, Stella Toth and Britt Anderson. The show includes graphic design, illustrations, paintings and other mediums inspired by trading cards, comic books, pop culture, politics and more.

More art shows are being planned for the mezzanine in the coming months as the 3rd on 3rd Gallery is in the process of being relocated to street level on Third St.

Pixels and Paint is sponsored by New York State Council on the Arts. It is open to the public Monday through Friday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and one hour before upcoming events at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. Patrons should enter the building through the doorway located next to the box office at 215 Spring St. while the main lobby and entrance at The Reg is being renovated.
