CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
— WESTFIELD — Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, deputies checked on a vehicle in the village of Westfield that was parked on the road. Through an investigation it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Stephanie J. Feiss, 49, of Ripley, was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Feiss was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, and no/stopping/standing/parking on a highway. Feiss was released with tickets to be in village court later.
— ELLINGTON — At around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Waterboro Hill Road for a report of a disorderly person. An investigation found Sabrina R Anderson, 44, of Sheffield Pa., did damage property belonging to another subject and engaged in conduct likely to cause physical injury to another subject. Anderson fled the scene prior to deputies arrival and was located by the town of Ellicott Police Department a short time later. Anderson was taken into custody and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree reckless endangerment. Anderson was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Program.

— KENNEDY — Troopers out of Jamestown charged Timothy Boyd, 29, of Jamestown, with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree harassment and driving while intoxicated. Troopers responded to the eastbound lane of I-86 in Kennedy Thursday for a report of a personal injury automobile accident.
An investigation revealed that Boyd and the victim, who was later determined to be the protected party in an order of protection against Boyd, were involved in a physical domestic dispute at their residence, after which subjects got into Boyd’s vehicle and drove east on Route 394 through Jamestown and Falconer, entered Interstate 86 and continued east.
During this time, Boyd drove at a high rate of speed, through red lights and almost caused several accidents before intentionally crashing into a bridge on I-86. Boyd was placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests and transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.09. Boyd was then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. The victim was evaluated at UPMC Chautauqua for injuries sustained during the domestic incident as well as the motor vehicle accident.
— SHERMAN — Troopers out of Jamestown charged Robert Ludwig, 35, of Kennedy, with aggravated DWI – Leandra’s Law.
Troopers responded to the I-86 eastbound on ramp Thursday for a report of a vehicle off the road. The driver, Ludwig, was placed under arrest after failing several field sobriety tests and transported to Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of 0.24. Ludwig was then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. The infant inside Ludwig’s vehicle at the time Ludwig drove off the roadway was evaluated at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown and turned over to a third party.
