CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ LEON — Tiffany M. Doctor, 29, of Rochester was located at 6924 Rt. 62 in the town of Leon was taken into custody Friday due to outstanding warrants issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
¯ SALAMANCA — Nicole French, 37, of Maple Street, Salamanca was taken into custody Thursday on a bench warrant issed by Cattaraugus County Court.

¯ RIPLEY — Marcus A. Detweiler, 19, of Sherman was arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and other traffic violations. According to the Sheriff’s Office, at about 02:45 a.m., deputies were called to a residence on Burton Ave. in the Town of Ripley for a suspicious person knocking on doors. Upon arrival, Deputies located a vehicle in front of the residence occupied by Detweiler. Further investigation alleges Detweiler was operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license, as well as operating without proof of registration, proof of insurance, proper inspection and no distinctive license plates. While continuing to speak with Detweiler, deputies said observed in plain view a 357 revolver on the floor under the driver seat. Detweiler was removed from the vehicle and further search resulted in discovering an electronic stun gun in his possession and the serial number on the revolver had been scratched off. He was subsequently taken into custody, charged and transported to the county jail for centralized arraignment.
