¯ Jamie L. Warner, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, seventh- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Amanda L. Penhollow, 35, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers observed a vehicle at 6:48 p.m. on Monday with a broken tail light and stopped the driver on the south side of the city. Warner got out of the vehicle and started to walk away but was detained. Warner was also found to have an outstanding warrant out of Jamestown. Officers later located 6.5 grams of methamphetamine and a suboxone sublingual film. Penhollow, a passenger in the vehicle, was allegedly found to be in possession of 1.6 grams of methamphetamine.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ HANOVER — At 1 a.m. Dec. 8, a deputy saw suspicious activity occurring on Routes 5 and 20. Upon further investigation it was found that 33-year-old Brady M. Atkins of Cattaraugus County had committed DWI, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Brady was taken into custody and processed at the Hanover substation. Brady was given appearance tickets to appear in the Hanover Town Court at a later date.
¯ PORTLAND — At around 8:44 p.m. Sunday, deputies assisted by the New York State Police were dispatched to a reported domestic dispute. Through an investigation it was found that 33-year-old Henry Fedrick had damaged property that did not belong to him. Fedrick was transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Fedrick was released with a ticket to appear in Portland Town Court at a later date and time.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ EVANS — On Thursday, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at the State Police at Boston charged Scott K. Wood Jr., 25, of Eden, with possessing a sexual performance by a child.
The bureau with assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted the Internet Crimes Against Children investigation in the town of Eden. An investigation determined Wood possessed child pornography. Wood was arraigned in the town of Evans Court.
