¯ MAYVILLE — James B. Erickson, 56, of Stockton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and open container in a motor vehicle. Deputies at 1:57 a.m. March 30 responded to Kwik Fill on Water Street in Mayville for a well-being check. A cashier stated that a male had gotten out of a truck and asked if they had a restroom and didn’t come out for the next 30 minutes. An investigation later determined that Erickson was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.
¯ PORTLAND — Todd L. Reardon, 47, of Dunkirk, and Robert S. Ryen, 52, of Dunkirk were each charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of petit larceny. Patrol respondaed Wednesday to a reported burglary on Lake Avenue in the town of Portland. During a property check, deputies located two people inside a camper stealing property. An investigation found that Reardon and Ryen had also broken into a second building on the property and had taken property from that building as well. Both were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
