JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
— Jennifer Allen, 38, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, and Shaun Porter, 45, both of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny after an incident at a business on Thursday.
At 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the south side business for a larceny complaint. Through an investigation, it was found that Allen and Porter had entered the business and Porter had stolen a phone charger from the store. Officers additionally learned that there is a valid Stay Away Order of Protection against Allen for an employee who was working at the business. Allen and Porter were located a short distance away. Porter and Allen were placed into custody and transported to the City Jail without incident.
— Thomas J. Papaserge, 44, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest after a domestic dispute on Friday. After 6 p.m., officers responded to a South side address and observed Papaserge inside the residence in violation of an order of protection. Officers made entry into the residence and placed Papaserge into custody. He was transported to City Jail where he awaited arraignment.
— Darius L. Franklin, 26, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon early Saturday. After 2 a.m., officers were on patrol in the area of North Main and East Third streets. Officers observed 26-year-old Franklin, who had a known warrant for his arrest through the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. Franklin was taken into custody by officers and a search yielded metal knuckles, which are illegal in New York state. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
— Chase S. Pellerino, 22, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief early Saturday. At 2:20 a.m., officers responded to a west side address for a reported physical domestic problem. During the investigation it was determined that Pellerino returned home in an intoxicated condition. He allegedly began throwing items all over the residence, breaking many of the items, after engaging in a physical domestic with a female victim. He was transported to Jamestown City Jail where he was held pending arraignment.
— A pair of city residents were charged after a Saturday morning incident.
Before 11:30 a.m., officers were assigned to a targeted domestic violence detail when they responded to an address on the north side of the city for an order of protection check. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Rudy L. Ryen, 47, and Christina L. Dorman, 48, each of whom had an active order of protection to stay away from the other. Since both parties were violating the terms of the order of protection, they were placed into custody without incident and transported to the city jail. Ryen was charged with first-degree criminal contempt due to a previous conviction and Dorman was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Both were held pending arraignment in the Jamestown City Court.
